1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and agree to comply with them.

2. Description of Service

Shotique provides an AI-powered headshot generation service. You upload photos of yourself, and our AI generates professional-quality headshot images based on your appearance and selected style.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use our service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Payment and Billing

  • Free accounts include one session at no cost.
  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate displayed at checkout.
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Billing section of your account. See our Refund Policy for refund eligibility.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Shotique to:

  • Upload photos of other people without their explicit consent.
  • Generate headshots intended to impersonate, deceive, or defraud others.
  • Create content that is illegal, harmful, or violates any applicable law.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse our service.
  • Use automated tools to access our service without our written permission.

6. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process them solely for the purpose of generating your headshots.

Generated headshots: You own the headshots generated from your photos. Free plan users may use headshots for personal use only. Pro plan users receive a commercial use license.

Our service: All software, designs, and branding associated with Shotique remain our exclusive property.

7. Disclaimers

Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated headshots will meet your specific requirements or match a particular aesthetic standard. AI outputs may vary.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shotique shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings section. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on our website. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
